Timeline
Will there be a “first look” with the Bride and Groom prior to the ceremony? If so, what is the time frame? (e.g. 5:00-6:30 PM)
*
What are the start & end times for your ceremony? (e.g. 6-6:45 PM):
*
What is your goal time for entering your reception? Remember timing wise: Ceremony end time +5 minutes for guests to clear out, +3 minutes for each group photo + 10-15 minutes with just the two of you (if you did not do a first look) + any travel time = approximate time to arrive at reception. Make sure your goal time is reasonable with the number of group photos you've selected.
*
When you enter the reception, what will be your first event – first dance or dinner? If you will dance first thing, I will need to time to get set up before you enter the room.
*
First Dance
Dinner
What time and type of formal exit will you have? (bubbles, sparklers, etc.)
*
Reception Group Photos
Please list any RECEPTION GROUP PHOTOS you'd like to take in addition to the journalistic photographs we'll be shooting (such as work groups, sororities/fraternities, distant relatives, etc.). If the group is larger, I recommend having your DJ make an announcement to help gather the individuals at that time.
Don't forget that a long list of photos will be keeping you from shaking your butt on the dance floor and mingling with guests. So I recommend only listing 2-3 so that you can relax and have fun!
Specific Wedding Details
Approximately how many guests do you expect?
*
Are there any special traditions that we should know about which will be happening on your wedding day like: unity candle or sand, parent or couple gift exchanges, special readings or poems, or reception events such as sorority serenades, etc.? If there are surprises planned, please be sure to let us know privately.
*
What is your favorite detail about the wedding? Are there any details, people, or events you want to be SURE we don't miss? What about special or heirloom pieces of jewelry or other objects we should look for? Please designate someone to have all of the Bride's details (shoes, rings, garter, personal/special jewelry, etc.) set aside and easy to find.
*
Please describe your wedding theme including the special touches that make your wedding extra lovely and personal, any DIY projects that were done, etc. What are the wedding colors? How formal will the event be?
*
Are you doing bouquet and/or garter toss?
*
Bouquet Toss
Garter Toss

Are there any divorces, deaths, special circumstances, limited mobility, etc., which we should know about so as not to embarrass anyone?
*
Are there any specific locations that you would like your group photos and/or couple portraits to be shot at?
*

Videographer - please also give name and contact info if you are using one
Do you prefer for the photographer or the videographer to take the lead in directing posing for portraits and to have priority with getting specific angles/shots?
Don't worry...there isn't a wrong answer! It's just helpful to know in case there are portions of the day where we are short on time or in a space where movement is limited.
