The Gallaghers - Dallas, TX

Would you believe me if I told you that, hours before this wedding, the weather forecast showed 90% chance of rain during the ceremony but then we never got even one drop the whole day? I guess if you’re from Dallas, you’d probably believe that. But the forecast was foreboding enough that Adam and Alex had to make the call to move their outdoor, skyline view reception into the STUNNING lobby of the building below. Thankfully, the lobby had floor to ceiling windows to show off the buildings around us and we still got to take some portraits of them alone outside, capturing the city that they love so much.

Adam Proposed to Alex! - White Rock Lake

Adam and Alex went under contract on their first home in East Dallas the same week he proposed! He chose White Rock Lake because they have so many great memories walking their dogs there. So now the lake is even more important in their lives, because that is where he brought her instead of taking her to the fancy dinner she was expecting to celebrate going under contract. But don’t worry! She still got her fancy dinner. It was just a few hours later, after they drank their customized champagne and wandered through wildflower fields. Which only stressed me out a little/lot since Alex was barefoot and I didn’t want her lasting memory of me to be that she got eaten alive by bugs during their photos. If she did, she didn’t tell me, and for that I’m grateful.

Jon+Kayla - Fort Worth, TX

Jon and Kayla’s story is AMAZING. They met in the end of November 2021, got engaged five months later on the day they closed on a house in Houston, and they’re getting married August 2022 (I’m actually scheduling this blog to post the day of their wedding)! But that is only part of the story.

Kayla battled cancer right before meeting Jon and he is truly her rainbow after the storm. She said that facing something like that makes you realize how short life is and that it should be spent with the people you love, doing things you love.
